MYRTLE THE TURTLE
Myrtle showed up at our house yesterday. The girls have had so much fun feeding her carrots and lettuce and taking her on walks through the grass. We will enjoy her for a short time and then take her down to the pond to find her a new home!
The First Day of School
Wow! It's another school year and for the first time, ALL three girls will be full time students-all day long! My baby is in Kindergarten- and boy is she ready to join her sisters at school! Taylor is in her last year at the Elementary School (5th Grade!!!!) and Kate is starting the 2nd Grade!
The Joplin Humane Society
We are so proud of Taylor and her giving spirit! We gave her the choice of Having a Birthday Party with gifts or to choose an organization that meant something to her and donate the money. She chose to ask for donations for the lost and abandoned animals in Joplin, MO after the big tornado hit! It was such a special trip for all of us. And WOW, what generous and giving friends Taylor has. She collected and donated $420 for the animals! Way to go Taylor!!
Our stay in Branson was quite a trip!! We had so much fun! Shopped the Outlets, Branson Landing, experienced Silver Dollar City in the RAIN! The resort judges awarded Taylor the "Biggest SPLASH" award and treated her to a Cherry Snow Cone! Kate sang a little Taylor Swift during the Karaoke hour! And Abby was a PRO at miniature golf!!
